We believe that “rising tides lift all boats” – that when we help others, we strengthen our entire community. At Zinpro, giving back to the global communities where we live and work is central to our core values. We are committed to programs focusing on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals 1-5.
Anderson Foundation honors the memories of Dean and Mary Anderson, co-founders of Zinpro Corporation. The Andersons believed in hard work, fair play and giving back to those less fortunate.
Through the careful stewardship of Zinpro employees, a portion of Zinpro’s profits supports the good works of Anderson Foundation. Today, we honor Dean and Mary’s humane, giving spirit by supporting grassroots groups around the world. Our close connection to those we support ensures that every dollar we donate helps to educate, inspire and create opportunities for girls and young women in agriculture.
Zinpro is proud to give back to organizations in our global communities, as well as provide scholarships to the next generation of leaders. This work includes the following organizations, along with several others aligned with our focus areas:
For 40 years, Bountifield International has spearheaded small-scale postharvest technology projects in rural communities, benefiting more than a million people in over 50 countries along the way.
Since 1944, Heifer International has worked with more than 39 million families around the world to end hunger and poverty in a sustainable way.
NAMI Minnesota (National Alliance on Mental Illness)
NAMI Minnesota’s mission is to champion justice, dignity and respect for all Minnesotans affected by mental illnesses.
PROP (People Reaching Out to People)
More than 50 years ago, PROP was founded on the principle of neighbors helping neighbors, by donating time, food and money to those in need.
When natural disasters strike, the community impact can be devastating. We are committed to supporting the communities where we live and work, ensuring safety and good health for all. Organizations that we have supported through relief funds include United Way, Red Cross and more.
Through Zinpro’s Employee Matching Gift Policy, team members are encouraged to give back to organizations that mean the most to them personally. We match up to $1,000 per employee per year through donations and volunteer hours.
We know how important it is to invest in our future leaders. In 2021, we gave eight scholarships to deserving students in undergraduate and graduate programs in order to help them achieve their educational goals. These scholarships are given through partner organizations, universities and local operating communities.
Some of the scholarships we sponsor include:
