Rooted in Agriculture
As the youngest of seven children on a family farm raising corn, soybeans, cattle and hogs, Andy Wuethrich learned early what it means to work hard and care for animals. Although the Francesville, Indiana family farm would eventually pass to his older brother, these early experiences left him with a passion for the powerful legacy of agriculture.
Charting a New Path
At one point, Andy thought he’d leave farming behind to become a doctor or veterinarian, but he soon found his way back to his livestock roots and an Animal Science degree at Purdue University. With a career that has included research, sales, and even commodities trading, Andy has built a unique skillset that he brings to his role as Key Account Manager for Zinpro®.
Obsessive About Solving Problems
Andy’s experience as a commodity broker gives him deeper insight into the financial pressures farmers face. Closely following feed prices, markets, and livestock economics lets him approach every conversation with empathy and focus. He’s almost obsessive about finding practical solutions that support long-term profitability and performance. Every day, Andy helps tackle the most pressing issues facing swine producers, connecting people with the right expertise to the customers who need answers. He leans heavily on the deep knowledge and collaborative spirit he finds among his Zinpro coworkers to help him serve his customers faster and more effectively.
Planting Seeds Through Coaching

When Andy’s daughters were young, he saw coaching their softball teams as a way to connect and deepen his relationship with them. That time together provided some of their best conversations and valuable lessons in patience and resilience. Today, Andy’s office wall has a plaque given to him by one of his players that says: “A good coach can change a game. A great coach can change a life.” For Andy, it reflects the long-term mindset that drives him, both in life and in agriculture.
Protecting Family Legacies
“Any farmer that you talk to doesn’t want to give an inheritance; they want to give a legacy,” Andy says. He is committed to helping his customers protect and preserve their family farming legacy. Over the course of his career across multiple companies, Andy has been blessed to watch the transition of his customers’ farms from one generation to the next. Today, he often calls on the kids of former customers, who now are running their parents’ farms and raising kids that will likely take over in the future.
One of a Kind. Of One Mind.
Andy’s story is unique, but he’s committed to Zinpro’s shared goal: helping producers bring out the best in their animals.
