Zinpro® Corporation Opens Innovation Center in Spain to Accelerate Animal Nutrition Research
Santiago De Compostela, Spain – September 24, 2025 – ZinproCorporation, the world’s leading innovator and manufacturer of high-performance organic trace minerals, proudly announces the opening of its new innovation center in Spain, a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to advancing animal nutrition through global collaboration and cutting-edge research.
The Zinpro Innovation Center is designed to foster cross-pollination of ideas among university partners, industry leaders and the Zinpro global team of scientists. This collaborative approach ensures that every solution is grounded in science and delivers real-world impact for customers.

The center’s primary focus is on gastrointestinal research, including intensive work on rumen digestion and the development of nutritional solutions like Zinpro®IsoFerm, which improves fiber and protein utilization in ruminants. In line with the Zinpro commitment to sustainability, the center is also developing new approaches to optimize emissions from livestock and processes in the animal nutrition industry.
With advanced fermentation and microbiology capabilities, as well as new systems for studying monogastric digestion, the innovation center will accelerate the ability to bring high-impact solutions to market for livestock, aquaculture and companion animals.
The Spain location is one of two Zinpro innovation centers. The first location opened in 2007 in Eden Prairie, Minnesota.
