Zinpro® Corporation Celebrates 400 Peer-reviewed Publications

Milestone reinforces industry leadership in mineral research.

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. – Feb 24, 2006 – Zinpro Corporation, the world’s leading innovator and manufacturer of high-performance organic trace minerals and animal nutrition solutions, proudly announces the publication of its 400th peer-reviewed scientific paper. This milestone highlights the company’s commitment to scientific research and its ongoing contribution to advancing animal nutrition.

Zinpro has a peer-reviewed portfolio which spans decades of collaborative research with leading universities and institutions worldwide. Today, Zinpro research accounts for more than 50% of all peer-reviewed mineral research in the animal nutrition industry.

The 400th paper, which focuses on isoacids and their role in enhancing dairy cow rumen fermentation and feed efficiency, exemplifies the Zinpro commitment to exploring innovative nutritional strategies to improve animal health and performance. The study was conducted by Dr. Jacquelyn Boerman at Purdue University and shows the importance of feeding isoacids during the dry period alone. Results include increased dry matter intake and improved blood glucose levels in the pre- and post-fresh periods. The research also demonstrated better body weight maintenance by 24% and increased milk production by 4.5%.

“This research not only deepens scientific understanding about isoacids and how they affect the rumen but also provides practical insights for dairy producers seeking to optimize productivity sustainably,” said Dr. Daryl Kleinschmit, Senior Discovery Researcher at Zinpro. “Our 400th peer-reviewed publication is more than a number. It’s a reflection of our relentless pursuit of knowledge and our promise to deliver science-backed solutions to our customers. We’re proud to lead the industry in research that drives real-world results.”

As part of the announcement, Zinpro launched a video that explains more about the 400th peer review article.
