Zinpro Corporation Hosts First International Inflammation Symposium

Unlocking solutions to inflammation issues takes center stage, as animal agriculture experts gather in Rome, Italy, Nov. 13-16

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn., Nov. 08, 2017 – Invited experts from more than 35 countries will gather at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Rome, Italy, Nov. 13-16, 2017, as Zinpro Corporation hosts its first International Inflammation Symposium. More than 200 world-leading poultry and swine experts are registered to participate in the symposium to share their insights, knowledge and experiences on inflammation and its wide-ranging implications for the immune system, nutrient partitioning, animal wellness, performance and profitability.

“Knowledge is the key to manage and mitigate the negative impacts of chronic inflammation – an underlying issue in animal agriculture with implications for nutritionists, veterinarians and producers in every corner of the world,” says Max Winders, vice president of sales – international, Zinpro Corporation. “To promote increased knowledge in the industry, we’re bringing together leading experts to discuss the issue and to network and share groundbreaking information on this topic.”

The symposium’s theme is “The Key to Success – Unlocking Solutions to Help Solve Inflammation Issues.” The event has been many months in the making, and serves as a stepping stone for further discussions and research directions.

“Given the recent trend in many countries to move away from antibiotic use, finding methods to effectively manage and minimize inflammation is increasingly important,” notes Winders. “Since inflammation is intertwined with the immune response, any conditions, feedstuffs or ingredients that help to modulate the inflammatory response and its subsequent immune function are vital to consider for overall animal wellness and performance. This event is an important first step as we work together to examine promising solutions to this important issue.”

As the industry leader in trace mineral nutrition for livestock and poultry, Zinpro is committed to delivering the people, products and educational tools needed to help customers improve the performance and profitability of their operations.
