Zinpro Corporation Names Tanner Schmidt as Account Manager – Pacific Coast

Schmidt provides multiple-species technical sales support, with a focus on beef cattle

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn., Aug. 30, 2017 – Zinpro Corporation announces that Tanner Schmidt has joined the company as account manager – Pacific Coast. In this position, Schmidt is responsible for cultivating Zinpro Performance Minerals® sales and for providing technical sales support to feed and premix companies, nutritionists and livestock producers in California, western Oregon, western Washington and western Nevada. His primary focus is on beef cattle, but he also works with dairy, equine, show animals and all other species.

Prior to joining Zinpro, Schmidt worked as a national account manager, most recently for a feed supplement company in California, and prior to that for an animal nutrition company in Minnesota. In addition, he has been active as an owner and operator of a California beef seedstock operation, Schmidt Cattle, for the past nine years.

Schmidt earned his master’s degree in animal science – ruminant nutrition from Texas Tech University and his bachelor’s degree in animal science from Oklahoma State University.
