Las soluciones de Zinpro\u00ae mejoran el rendimiento, la salud y la eficiencia, a la vez que reducen de forma cuantificable el impacto de las emisiones de carbono.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-why-emissions-intensity-matters-in-agriculture-nbsp\"><strong>Por qu\u00e9 es importante la intensidad de las emisiones en la agricultura&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>El aumento del n\u00famero de animales se traduce en m\u00e1s carne, leche y huevos para ayudar a satisfacer la creciente demanda de alimentos. Sin embargo, esto tambi\u00e9n conlleva un aumento de las emisiones totales de carbono. Por ejemplo, entre 2005 y 2025, la caba\u00f1a lechera mundial creci\u00f3 en 11%, lo que provoc\u00f3 un aumento de 18% en las emisiones totales de gases de efecto invernadero (GEI). Sin mejoras significativas en eficiencia, sanidad animal, producci\u00f3n por animal y gesti\u00f3n global, este aumento podr\u00eda haber sido mucho mayor (hasta 38%). &nbsp;<br>&nbsp;<br>Aunque la reducci\u00f3n de las emisiones absolutas sigue siendo una prioridad, se ha avanzado en la reducci\u00f3n de las emisiones por unidad de producto, lo que se conoce como intensidad de las emisiones. En el sector l\u00e1cteo, las emisiones de GEI por kilogramo de leche se redujeron en casi 11% entre 2005 y 2015, lo que demuestra el impacto de estos avances.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-role-of-feed-in-reducing-carbon-emissions\"><strong>Papel de los piensos en la reducci\u00f3n de las emisiones de carbono<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>La alimentaci\u00f3n animal desempe\u00f1a un papel fundamental en la huella de carbono de la carne, los huevos y los productos l\u00e1cteos, ya que el proceso de cultivo, transformaci\u00f3n y transporte de los piensos contribuye significativamente a las emisiones de GEI. Una dieta puede parecer medioambientalmente sostenible sobre el papel, pero si el animal no puede consumirla y digerirla eficientemente, puede provocar p\u00e9rdidas de rendimiento y mayores niveles de nitr\u00f3geno en el esti\u00e9rcol, aumentando el impacto medioambiental.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El papel de los nutricionistas animales es cada vez m\u00e1s complejo. En el pasado, las decisiones se basaban a menudo en las f\u00f3rmulas de menor o mayor coste. Ahora, la eficiencia, tanto en los animales como en las explotaciones, debe equilibrarse con la huella de carbono y el potencial de calentamiento global*l de los piensos elegidos. Este reto multidimensional requiere datos precisos sobre la huella de carbono de los ingredientes y subproductos de los piensos. Pero, \u00bfqu\u00e9 papel desempe\u00f1an los microingredientes, como los oligoelementos org\u00e1nicos, en la reducci\u00f3n de las emisiones de carbono?&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-quantifying-the-impact-of-organic-trace-minerals\"><strong>Cuantificaci\u00f3n del impacto de los oligoelementos org\u00e1nicos<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Aunque los oligoelementos org\u00e1nicos se utilizan en peque\u00f1as cantidades en las dietas de los animales, su impacto en la reducci\u00f3n de las emisiones de carbono puede ser significativo al mejorar los indicadores clave de rendimiento. En Zinpro, hemos cuantificado los beneficios medioambientales de nuestros productos y soluciones. Dado que los distintos gases de efecto invernadero tienen diferentes efectos de calentamiento, utilizamos el CO\u2082 equivalente (CO\u2082e) como unidad normalizada en nuestros c\u00e1lculos. Algunos de los nuevos e interesantes datos que podemos dar a conocer son:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Vacas lecheras:<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>9,2% de mejora de la eficiencia alimentaria, lo que supone una reducci\u00f3n de 8% de CO\u2082e por unidad de leche, lo que equivale a 120 kg de CO\u2082e por cada 1.000 kg de leche producida.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>30% de aumento de la supervivencia de las novillas, lo que se traduce en una reducci\u00f3n de 1,5% del CO\u2082e necesario para mantener el tama\u00f1o del reba\u00f1o, ahorrando 143 kg de CO\u2082e por novilla que permanece en el reba\u00f1o de orde\u00f1o.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Porcino y aves de corral:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>1% de mejora de la habitabilidad de los cerdos de cr\u00eda, junto con una mayor producci\u00f3n y eficiencia, lo que lleva a una reducci\u00f3n de la producci\u00f3n de CO\u2082e de aproximadamente 3% en base a los cerdos de acabado.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Una mejora de 2 puntos en la conversi\u00f3n alimenticia de los pollos de engorde, equivalente a unos +105 g de peso vivo, que se traduce en una reducci\u00f3n de 3,67% en la producci\u00f3n de CO\u2082e por unidad de carne de pollo de engorde producida.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>5,2% de aumento de la producci\u00f3n de huevos en ponedoras, lo que supone una reducci\u00f3n de 5,42% de la producci\u00f3n de CO\u2082e por unidad de masa de huevos producida.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Peces marinos:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>7% de reducci\u00f3n de los insumos alimentarios, impulsada por una mayor retenci\u00f3n de prote\u00ednas de 6,8% y una mejor retenci\u00f3n de f\u00f3sforo de 13,2%, reduciendo las emisiones en 182 g de CO\u2082e por kg de carne comestible.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Impulsar el cambio y la innovaci\u00f3n en la producci\u00f3n animal&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Las pr\u00e1cticas de producci\u00f3n animal, incluida la nutrici\u00f3n, se enfrentan a un escrutinio cada vez mayor en cuanto a su impacto en la salud y el bienestar de los animales y en el medio ambiente.
