Burrell joins Zinpro\u2019s Leadership Team and retains her role as executive director of Anderson Foundation.<\/em><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. \u2013 June 2, 2022 \u2013 Zinpro Corporation, the world\u2019s leading innovator and manufacturer of high-performance organic trace minerals and animal nutrition solutions, announced the promotion of LaToya J. Burrell, J.D., MBA, to the role of general counsel. In addition to providing legal counsel, Burrell will retain her current responsibilities leading the company\u2019s diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) and corporate giving activities, as well as her role as executive director of Anderson Foundation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since joining Zinpro in February 2021, Sheffer notes that Burrell has led numerous culture-building initiatives, including an employee-focused mental health education campaign in partnership with the Minnesota chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) \u2013 an effort that earned Zinpro NAMI Minnesota\u2019s Employer of the Year award for 2021.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Burrell also led the formation of the company\u2019s first Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Advisory Council and the establishment of DEI goals. She created a new strategic framework for corporate giving, leading Zinpro and Anderson Foundation to develop expanded partnerships with Bountifield International and Heifer International, which the company celebrated on International Women\u2019s Day<\/a>. Burrell also played a leading role in the formation of the Women of Zinpro, the company\u2019s first employee resource group. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Burrell received a law degree from Southern University Law Center and an MBA from Metropolitan State University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
