Hulinsky is a graduate of the University of Minnesota, Crookston.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignright size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"126\" height=\"175\" src=\"https:\/\/www.zinpro.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/RochelleHulinsky-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-55563\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.zinpro.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/RochelleHulinsky-1.jpg 126w, https:\/\/www.zinpro.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/RochelleHulinsky-1-9x12.jpg 9w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 126px) 100vw, 126px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><em>Rochelle Hulinsky<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Asked how she would choose to help the industry with her education, Hulinsky stated that she is interested in the advancement of \u201canimal welfare and pain control practices.\u201d She also shared that she has enjoyed \u201cbuilding life-long bonds with her future colleagues during their veterinary training\u201d and that they have helped to strengthen her skills. \u201cAfter I graduate with my D.V.M. in May of 2019, I plan to work in a mixed animal practice setting, where I will get to work with food animals and dairy cattle,\u201d she added. \u201cI grew up on a dairy farm and then married a dairy farmer; I have been surrounded by cattle my entire life and wouldn\u2019t have it any other way.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Zinpro Corporation shares Rochelle\u2019s commitment to animal care and concern for animal welfare, said Terry Ward, Ph.D., global director, Research and Nutritional Services (RNS), Zinpro Corporation. \u201cIn her studies and research, Rochelle has shown the same dedication and commitment to animal wellness that was demonstrated by Dr. Schugel, for which the scholarship was named. It\u2019s our honor and privilege to award this scholarship to a student whose heart and mind is fully dedicated to caring for animals and who promises to soon excel as a food-animal veterinarian.\u201d&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Zinpro Corporation established the&nbsp;Zinpro\/Schugel Scholarship&nbsp;in 2011 to recognize outstanding academic accomplishments by a third-year veterinary student studying food-animal medicine at the University of Minnesota,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/vetmed.umn.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">College of Veterinary Medicine<\/a>. Zinpro Corporation began a fund for the scholarship shortly after the retirement of Dr. LaVerne Schugel, a veterinarian and past Zinpro RNS director, who graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 1957.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI am very grateful to be the recipient of the Zinpro\/Schugel Scholarship Award, and am relieved to have this financial support as I work hard to become a veterinarian,\u201d Hulinsky shared. \u201cI am so excited to be equipped to return home with the skills I need to help the sustainable livestock producers, farmers and animals in my region.
