Sustainable Trace Minerals Draws Interest in China

Nearly 200 Attend International Trace Mineral Nutrition Symposium (ITMNS) 2016

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn., July 12, 2016 – The International Trace Mineral Nutrition Symposium (ITMNS) 2016 convened in Ningbo, China, June 28-30, attracting nearly 200 invited, top industry experts from across the globe. The theme for the symposium, sponsored by Zinpro Corporation, was Sustainable Trace Mineral Nutrition. 

“As public awareness on the importance of food safety and sustainability increases, the need for more efficient, safe and environmentally friendly products and technologies continues to grow,” said Sou Fei Chin, Ph.D., vice president of sales – North Asia and China Operations, Zinpro Corporation. “ITMNS 2016 helped deliver practical information on topics related to trace mineral nutrition and its positive impact on animal skin, feet, bones, immunity and reproductive performance. In addition, the symposium offered a research-based discussion on the sustainability of high performance animal production and the role that performance trace minerals can play to reduce the environmental impact and increase the food safety of livestock production.”
