Zinpro Corporation Honors Dr. Malinowski For Equine Industry

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn., (Aug. 6, 2012) – Dr. Karyn Malinowski
of the Rutgers Equine Science Center was honored as the 2012 Equine Science
Award recipient at the American Society of Animal Science (ASAS) meetings
recently held in Phoenix.
Sponsored by Zinpro Corporation, the award was presented in
conjunction with the Equine Science Society and the ASAS.

Dr.
Malinowski earned her bachelor’s, masters and doctorate degrees at Rutgers. She
joined the faculty at Rutgers in 1978 as the first female Equine Extension
Specialist in the U.S. Since that time, she has served with distinction as a
Professor of Animal Sciences, Associate Director of the New Jersey Agricultural
Experiment Station, Director of the Equine Science Center and Director of
Rutgers Cooperative Extension.
Her
professional accomplishments have had a major impact on the well-being and
quality of life of the equine athlete, while ensuring the vitality and
viability of the equine industry.
