How to Read a Feed Tag
The basics of a feed tag seem simple enough, but it pays to understand
exactly what you’re getting when you purchase feed. If you see “complexes” listed
in the ingredients, it’s a good bet that 4-Plex-EQ is in the feed. However, if you see the
logo on the bag, you’ll know it’s also contained at Zinpro’s recommended level.
These levels have been researched to provide the best performance for your horse. Even without the
logo, it’s possible that 4-Plex-EQ is at the recommended level, but the feed manufacturer has chosen
not to display the logo. In this case, it’s best to check with your feed company to know for sure.
